Do the arithmetic to find the current. What matters a lot more are issues like common mode impedance as a function of frequency and the Zo of the line, both of which depend on the conductor size and spacing. 18 bifilar turns (18x2) is about the practical limit on a i.4-in i.d. core, and 16 isn't easy. 73, Jim K9YC |
