Apologies in advance for a non-Ten-Tec post .....
I think this "Reply to All" situation depends on how Rick posts. Most of
the lists I see his posts on show his e-mail address along with his name in
the "From" field but you cannot use Reply to All to send a reply back to
both him and to the group.
In these cases you can copy and paste his e-mail address manually if you
want to send a reply to both him and the list, although presumably he would
get a copy that was simply sent to the list because he apparently subscribes
to the list.
On list messaging it is sort of redundant to "reply to all" as opposed to
just using "reply".

Thanks to you (and all the others) for the responses.
Unfortunately, when I did that, it still came up as "tentec@contesting.com
In Thunderbird, it has two "reply" choices:
Reply to All -- which goes to the group
Reply -- which goes to the originator only. I have used this feature
successfully many times in the past.
It seems that either I have found some quirk in Thunderbird related to
Rick or that Rick's direct email address is somehow accidentally
concealed to Thunderbird...
Still puzzled,
Carter K8VT
BTW, using Thunderbird 24.6.0, the latest update.
