I like the Omni 6 box a LOT better! That LOOKS  like a ham radio, still had the 
best local oscillator/VO arrangement ever seen. 

The notch filter should be INSIDE the AGC loop, unlike the one non the Orion. 
Otherwise it’s totally useless.
