Never liked the Speed-X action??? I consider the Speed-X series (properly 
adjusted of course) to be one of the best "bang for the buck" straight keys 
out there. My dad was a seagoing USCG op in WWII and there were two of the 
310 series in his stuff when he became a SK. That being said, I do prefer the 
feel of the 320 (so-called rectangular base) over the oval base 310.
