Good Morning SteveJust has a revelation re the burnt resistors in the Argosy 2
525d.I measured them before taking them out and the 2 x 8.2ohm resistor were
almost spot on but the 150ohm was way out, so is it likely that the 150ohm was
the source of the heat and smoke, just blackened the 2 either side of it.That
would answer your PS comment. Now I thought of that at 06:15hrs this morning, I
must have been thinking of that during the night, such are an old mans dreams
pal, hi hi.

How sensitive is it if you inject a signal directly after the BPF at
connector 32 on the RF mixer board? That would eliminate a lot of the
front-end diode switching.
PS - not sure why R25would burn out - it doesn't carry any DC current
according to the schematic.
