My C22 arrived! I'm now the proud owner of model 579 #00068.

The radio and power supply were shipped separately. Despite a decent
packing effort by the seller, the USPS still managed to damage both
packages.

Nothing too bad. Luckily the faceplate didn't get cracked. I just need to
straighten out the front plate. Same with one of the corners of the PS.

The receiver works. The PTO seems to work fine - is it normal for the freq
to change when you touch the tuning shaft? Never noticed this on my C21. I
will probably go ahead and clean / repack the PTO while I have everything
apart. This thing sat unused for decades, so that grease has to be getting
pretty dried out.

No output from the speaker, but I tracked that down to a broken wire in the
speaker. Will need a new speaker.

Some really bad soldering on the MRF476's - the base leg on one of them has
completely broken free from the board. Clearly someone who sucks as
soldering replaced them! Is it possible to test them in-circuit, or should
I de-solder and test?

The insides look clean. I gave the faceplate, switches, and cases a bath
and they cleaned up well.

One of the knobs is cracked. Anyone have a source for these? It's not the
same knobs that my C21 uses - I think it's the same as the Argosy and
possibly other models from the early 80s?
