Mike,

The closest element (Hi-Z element #2) of my Hi-Z 4sq is 70 ft from my 1/4 wave 
160m hat loaded vertical & it has worked  fine for 3 years.  I am feeding the 
feedpoint at 134 ft up the antenna.
