Don, some of us we are out here and trying. It is true that especially during
poor conditions there isn't much activity out here because it can be a
miserable slog given the difference between the wide-open spaces of the West
and the population density south and east of you. Especially up here is the PNW
we are a very long way from everywhere. Take a look in the Stew Perry results
at the Average Distance for stations in the PNW and compare that to all the
rest of the country and you'll see the problem.

That said, running LP from here in WWA I managed to put IN, IL, OH, WI, and MI
in the log from your area. Also, others south of you in TX and NFL as well as
VA, WPA, NC, TN and even KP4 etc. The conditions just weren't there for much of
last night, but we are trying. Hope to hear you tonight.

 73 and GL
Patrick, W7TMT

Hi Wes,

Same can be said for the Midwest US, so we need the West Coast US to be “radio
active”. As an example one of the biggest single op contest stations in
Indiana heard no EU stations last night to put things into perspective. We are
looking to work as many Western US stations as possible but they are not many
or they are down in the mud.
