If you are concerned about the length of the antenna, and are going to
operate at output powers of 100 watts or less, then have a look at the
Comet CA-HV antenna. It provides two band HF operation plus 6m, 2m (a new
version also has 70cm). The HF bands are enabled by two coils attached
(one vertically and the other horizontally) at the top of a 4ft (approx)
whip. It is low profile and will withstand high speeds easily!
I use the antenna and have had excellent results with it!
