Similar deal here, except we sent a "deposit" check for $5,441. A "delivery
confirmation" letter was received and delivery was to be made October 31st
2000. When we called in November, we were told that the tower was being
dipped and would be shipped shortly. Recently, we received a letter that the
manufacturing had been sold to another company. This particular tower was
for commercial use, and we had a project slated to go live on January 15th
2001. Obviously, we missed the date.

I just had to buy a piece of land for $14,100 so we could place a guyed
tower. Had we been able to get the DX86, I wouldn't have needed the extra room.

So, either way, we are out a total of $19,541 and still don't have a tower up.
It would have been nice to do antenna maintenance from close to the ground,
but it looks like that is a pipe dream gone home.

We have cancelled the order, demanded a refund, and notified our attorney to
immediately begin collection procedures.

I hope I am wrong, but my guess is that our money is gone.
