To my mind, the BEST way to mount a rotor below the
open space in R25 towers is to place the rotor plate
at the TOP of the next lower section and to cut ONE
of the horizontal braces at the bottom of the Top Section.
This opens up a sufficiently large window for placement
of the rotor with minimal reduction in tower strength since
there is another horizontal brace (not to mention the rotor
plate) only a few inches below at the top of the lower section
and NO diagonal braces are cut.
