I lost the directional indication on my T2X, brought it down, and found the wiper arm had worn down and dropped off of the rheostat windings. Being thrifty, I soldered a short piece of #8 wire to the end of the wiper arm, filed it down on top the clear the upper stop, and checked it with the controller. The directional indication works when I rotate the arm manually, but the arm does not turn with the rotor motor on. Any suggestions on what do do next, besides send it out for repair? |
