On this reflector some time ago there was discussion of such a super cleaning
(good enough to tin and solder afterwards) solvent called "DuzAll" (supposed to
be very toxic and harmful, just
perfect for this job) which may be available at welding shops, etc. I have been
all around Oklahoma City's finest welding shops and so far no one knows what
"DuzAll" is. Like Jim, I need
something that will clean very oxidized and weathered copper so I can get good
solder joints to it.
