How about moving to QTH.net? In the early 4 years I was admin for a dozen
lists there and in the years since, I was never aware of issues like what's
been going on here at Yahoo.

Gmail is not a good choice for lists, because their policy is to NOT reflect
your own posts back to your inbox (to reduce "clutter"). So you have no way
of knowing whether your brilliance ever made it unless someone replies...
