Hello-
Today I hauled home 12 of 55G tower sections. Three of the sections were
different:
             1. They had 10 horizontal braces as opposed to the normal qty of 8.
             2. At the middle of the tower (lengthwise) 2 of the horizontal
braces are spaced very close together.
             3. The sleeves on the bottom of these tower sections are a little
shorter than the sleeves on the standard 55G.
I test fit another section into these shorter sleeves and the
bolt holes lined up OK, but just barely. I guess
the sleeves are made shorter to accommodate the greater
length span of bracing on tower section.
So, where is the most logical place to install these heavier-braced
sections? I plan to put up 120' guyed and install stacked VHF/UHF antennas.
Thank you, Byron WA5THJ
