Hi Douglas,

I don't think you have to worry about fixing the tower base to the roof as you
are guying the tower in two places.

You can, simply, mix some cement (without any rocks) and make yourself a little
platform slightly larger than the tower base. If you plan to remove the tower
at some time in the future I suggest you spread out the cement over a single
plastic sheet at the spot where you are putting the tower. That way you are
able to remove the cement without leaving any marks.

Before the cement hardens you level off the top surface so you have the
horizontal surface you are looking for. I don't believe you have to anchor the
base, just rely on the friction between the base and the cement unless you have
some really windy conditions.

Good luck with your installation and use of your tower,

Hans - N2JFS

Thanks Ron,

Interesting idea using a solid hard wood shim a little larger than the base.

Bolts diameters are 3/8".

Bolts length are 2 1/2".

are not ok 4 bolts with that dimension to fix a base to the roof for 3 tower
sections like Rohn 25G ?
