I use FEP-jacketed cables outdoors on new installations (primarily RG-393),
and have taken down antennas that were up for 20+ years using the same
cables and never saw any degradation whatsoever.  Always quality name-brand
products of course (Harbour, Thermax, Times Microwave, Belden).  Never any
hint of UV breakdown.

I recall taking down a UHF antenna that was installed at the top of the
smokestack of a fossil-fuel power plant right on the Atlantic Ocean (Google
"Beesley's Point Generating Station" if you want to see what it's like).
Between the salt air and the combustion products leaving the flues, it was a
horribly corrosive environment that ate up everything other than stainless
steel.  After wiping the soot off the RG-393 jumper with a rag, it looked
like new.  Can't say the same for the antenna...
