Those bolts do seem to be a bit hard to find.
According to Fastenal's website, they have them in stainless
socket head cap screws for around $2.50 apiece. And they say
there is no inflation.
I wonder if there is enough material present to drill them out and tap
them for 1/4", you can get this size bolt anywhere and cheaply.
