It's not funny at all. What we were talking about is looking at my
logs so George could decide if my logs were worthy. I'm very happy
with my logs. I'm not hiding anything, the point is my log is my
business. And I'm certainly not going to entertain this silly witch
hunt by the 3 or 4 uninformed vocal few, while hundreds or thousands
of other VHF operators are clear there is nothing funny going on
other than hard work, and fun.

Let's not confuse what I've personally done for furthering the hobby
and the spirit of VHF and my not publishing my logs.(mistakenly
calling this strategy) I go to NEWS group meetings an VHF dinners. I
go to local Microwave elmering meetings. I've even discussed my
travels and experiences with these rovers and many others. I received
permission to get to a locked site one year and another rover showed
up at the bottom of the mountain, I called him and said he should
come up to the top, the view was much better! We don't exchange logs,
it's not relevant to helping each other. The amount of times W3CCX or
N2PA or K8GP show in those logs do nothing to better either of our
efforts.

Be clear on what these vocal minority want to do. They want to mess
up the contest for rovers like you and I and belittle our hard work.
It's sad, and I'm disappointed that silent majority haven't stepped
up to squash this baloney. Now this is just a mailing list, and the
last time there was a rule change was attempted the membership spoke
up. This is just wasting time.
