Mark--

Google this: PS12550 AGM battery.

I picked up a couple of these 55 ah used and was pleased to find they are
actual AGM for around $100 new. That's about half the price I've seen for
others.
They weigh 34 lbs and have fold away handles. Even one beats the pants off my
Walmart deep cycle 100 ah in terms of capacity and holding voltage, and the
specs advise to charge to about 14v for deep cycle use. When I got them they
were reading over 13 volts and maintained 12.7 in use. In fact, I decided not
to
charge during rover stops to reduce noise. At that price you could parallel a
few. That's all I know after one outing, but I was pleased with them.
