Not working a dupe station that call you is most likely costing you
points. Sometimes your call may be copied wrong by the calling station
which means your call is not in his log from the earlier QSO . If you
don't work the station again, you still will not be in his log even though
he's in your log. One way QSO don't count for points. By working the
station again, you insure your call was received correctly the second time.
You would not be called if you showed up as a dupe with the calling
station. It is also just as quick to work the station again and move him
off your frequency rather than having to make several transmissions to
explain why he's a dupe.
