Three additional notes on performance -
If there is less than 300 MB of free disk space, everything will be slower.
Less than about 100 is really slow. A disk defragmenting program like
Norton speeddisk (part of Norton Utilities) will also help.
Some examples of Memory prices -
>From MCM Electronics Sale flyer (prices good through Dec 8th,
www.mcmelectronics.com 800-543-4330)
PN's 83-8687 through -8690 32/64/128/256 MB PC100 SDRAM 168 Pin DIMM
$12.50/17/24.95/44.95
PC133 SDRAM 64-256 MB same prices.
All made by PNY, a respected memory manufacturer.
MCM is a good place - I have never had a problem with them - service is
excellent.
I hope that all this is helpfull. John K1AE
PS: www.crucial.com is another souce of memory and selection help for your
PC.
