[WriteLog] on the fly recording

Sent a note on this yesterday. thanks for all that responded. I found that
when I try the shift F1, 2, or whatever that the line in recording tab is
muted. I'm not sure why that is happening. I un-mute it, try again and same
results. I tried turning on mic echo but that didn't help.

Running W98 here. Any ideas? I'm sure thats why I never record anything when
I try this.
