"Choppiness" in the cw output is probably to some degree a function of your
cpu speed and RAM sufficiency. In a 48 hour contest, I can count on one
hand the number of times I notice a choppy cw character coming out my LPT1.
Using a K6-2+/550Mhz, 384MB RAM, W98SE.
Might be interesting to hear other folks' experience, along with the
computing platform.
