Jeez, I didn't think that posting through very well, did I? Cancel
that previous msg. Pardon me, I guess I'm just a RTTY LID!

However, a few guys did send me a list of their qso's with me,
and so far there are no qso's missing from my log out of 16 QSO's
reported. Since 8% (114/1427) of my sequence numbers are missing,
if I get a few more reports like that, it will ease my mind greatly.

Also, K9JY reported on another possible explanation of missing
sequence numbers:

>As to serial number usage, if you have two radios
>and have a call in each

>not used again once the call is erased from the window.

I tried this tonight, and it works just as Scot describes.
I'm still trying to visualize how this could have happened
so frequently in the contest. But, if you find a station to work
on the second radio, he definitely can occupy that entry window
for several minutes, while radio 1 is occupied on a run, and all
sorts of frantic typing and editing is going on there. I'll
play with that some more tomorrow.

Sorry for all the confusion generated by my original illogical
posting. The older you get, the more often things like that
happen. Thanks to the guys who have sent me the list of our
QSO's. I'm feeling a little better at this point.
