Both Mssrs. Brannigand and Reisert are correct.
Fully assembled puters are cheap.
barebones kis are even cheaper.
I'll never build a MP class tranceiver.
But I can put together from pieces parts, a pretty good computer.
It's the old build or buy connundrum.
I've got time, so I'm building my XYL a super computer.
Fastest cpu, biggest hard drive, etc. etc.
Because it's a learning experience.
Whatever floats your boat.
Just don't be afraid to try as it's a lot easier than you think.
