DlPortIO or DirectIO should work. It should be transparent to WriteLog. They
are drivers that make the port available to the user level and should have
nothing to do with the application program which should have no idea why
suddenly LPT ports are visible, they just are.

I have used it on WriteLog and it works.
I do not remember all of the setup but documentation is there. I no longer
bother with LPT, have plenty of COM ports.
