Chuck, Actually that is when you should use the mouse. I think mouse click in the rtty window for the radio that you want to command is the quickest way to get the focus where you want it. The arrow keys work also but they some times open the edit window instead. So I click on the rtty window for the radio that I want and hit the ESC key. That stops the CQ and then send the response.
