In a private email, W4TV informed me that Writelog does NOT 
support LPT on 64 bit systems.  Joe is very knowledgeable about 
these things, so I consider his answer definitive.
Windows 7 x 64 definitely DOES support LPT ports, and so does 
N1MM Logger running on those systems.
