Hi All

We have the following configuration at the VE3FJB contest station.

Flex 6500 / SmartSDR 1.5
WL 11.29b, patched with Flex Driver 11.30b
DDUtil latest while not required, it is used for amp and steppir
frequency tracking

Using this set of components, we can set mode / freq correctly from the QSO
entry window, but not from the Bandmap or the Packet DX Spot windows.

We use DXTelnet supported by Writelog and we only pass along what we think
are digital mode spots. It is configured in DXTelnet. Starting mode in
SmartSDR is RTTY and it is populated into WL QSO entry window.

Spots get populated in the Bandmap and Packet windows. WL is clearly
running in FSK / RTTY mode and SmartSDR is 1.5 with all the RTTY
enhancements.

If you are using the QSO Entry Window to set the frequency / mode, it will
perform correctly and pass along a freq/FSK mode set as a freq/RTTY for the
SmartSDR package. All is good.

Things go afoul when you are seeing a spot in the BandMap or the Packet spot
window. Double clicking the spot in either will set it to the right
frequency but in the CW mode. Clicking on Mode Change or Alt F1 will take
it to FSK/RTTY mode on the right frequency, but sometimes the mode is
correct, but the frequency is wrong.

What is the latest versions of the downloadable components? What are the
6500 users seeing?

BTW, thanks for all the integration looking grand.

Thanks all

Keith / VA3YC for
VE3FJB
