[Yaesu] Problem in ATU of FT1000D

I recall reading here, I think, about the motorized capacitor plates not
being properly positioned for fully meshed and/or fully unmeshed within
the ATU.  Can someone lead me to that same information thread?  I have
tried locating that info within the archive, but no joy.....   Give me a
date reference, possibly....

I have a FT1kD here that has developed a problem in ATU tuning on 10
meter operation when going into a dummy load antenna or when going into
my normal 10 meter antenna. The VSWR is indicated as a minimum of 1.4 to
1  when going to the dummy load antenna.  Now when loading into my
normal 10 meter antenna, the VSWR is no better than 2 to 1 with the ATU
enabled.
Apparently something has been messed up within the ATU.    ( ? )

Any other info will be greatly appreciated.
