The BCB on 1820 has become considerably louder lately. The interference has
been identified as WDOR www.wdor.com out of WI. As the audio is
intelligible. I know of a couple of Emails that have been sent to the
station. Maybe if more polite Emails are sent to the station corrective
actions will be taken. Larry W8VVG

We are having a similar situation here in Central Ohio with WTVN-AM 610 Khz
with a 3rd harmonic on 1830 Khz. The station engineer has been contacted,
in a voicemail that he left me he admits that they have energy coming out on
1830 Khz. This problem has been ongoing for years according to other hams
in the Columbus OH area. So far we have not been able to talk to this
engineer, and the problem is still there. We have been polite so far, very
cordial so that we might accomplish a fix here, but so far nothing is
getting done. I will attempt to contact him on Thursday Dec 22nd, if I get
no results with then I am filing a formal complaint with the FCC. Tim K3LR
offered his assistance in running some tests with a portable receiver.
Since this issue has been ongoing over the years with this station over the
years I have decided to forget the tests and I am putting it back on the
station, especially since he has admitted of having energy at 1830 Khz. I
am not the only one that has experienced their signal on 1830 Khz.
