Well, if it is a ham, he must have a pretty decent antenna - being heard rather well all round NA and SA! A mediocre antenna and 50 watts will go all around the world in darkness on 80 meters, especially if this is a costal station. This signal level appears to be nothing out of the ordinary ~100 watt dipole signal here, compared to other signals. _________________ Topband Reflector |
