Jerry is having a "problem" with hose clamps on tubing.
Jerry,
When you get the clamp close to tight take a look at the slit in the tubing.
Are the two sides pinched together?? My experience is if the slit isn't wide
enough the sides will pinch and no amount of tightening will work....... strip
city of the clamp, if you will. My approach is either widen the slit, or use a
hacksaw to make another slit opposite the first. It works for me.
