I believe that there are crimp on DIN connectors for RG style coax but I
have not seen any Amphenol solder-on ones.  I use UHF connectors when
attaching RG-213 to Heliax. If they are not available, and I have never
seen UHF AVA5 connectors, than I would use N.  Otherwise you will need an
adapter and I think those are typically DIN to N. N connectors are dirt
cheap and work well if properly installed.

I really like the idea of using DIN connectors rather than N type on a
couple of AVA5-XL 7/8" Heliax runs I've got.  At the rotor point, I need to
transition to 1/2" Buryflex per a previous discussion.

All I see out there are male DIN to AVA-4 connectors which are reasonablly
priced, but I'm doubtful they would work very well.  Anybody have some
advice?
