Clay: I have used Trilogy (Aluminium) commercially for years.
Mechanically, can't be beat. Water migration does not happen, and it is
warranted against that. Connectors attach quite solidly -- with the reduced
copper in copper cables, the Commscope and RFS connectors do not attach to
their cables as well as Trilogy. Surplus connectors are rare, however. I
have always used Trilogy tools to install connectors, and it was
effortless. Without the tools could be a challenge. I stick with copper for
jumpers, a personal preference. The Trilogy cables are stiffer that the
copper cables. I would be concerned if you need to snake it through
underground conduit with bends. And, yes-- it is absolutely American made.
