Oh not so happy day,

Ohm out the connector in my shack at the Yaesu rotor control for my G-1000DXA.

pins 1-2 311 ohms
pins 2-3 207 ohms
pins 4-5 15 ohms
pins 5-6 15 ohms
pins 4-6 4 ohms (cheap Harbor Freight cen-tech DMM)

Something does not seem right there like a short.

Using my MDS RC-1 rotor digital controller that I used to have on a Yaesue
G-1000DXA in Keizer I checked at the tower base after disconnecting the Yaesu
controller. Got alarm 'Burnout has occurred' and 'MDS Rotor Control Yaesu V
3.9 copyright 2014 All rights res.' Don't you just love how this controller
definitely let me know the rotor has a problem while the Yaesu rotor just did
not turn?

So I guess it's 'do I install another Yaesu G-1000DXA' or maybe one of my two
Tailtwister which I'm not a fan of. Or buy a Spid' or something. Not a good
problem when I have to pay to get a new rotor and get it installed. Getting a
bit expensive. And I was just in the middle of my second tower project! Sheeee!
