Thanks Jim for the input. This morning I ordered 1500' of #12 black PE
covered solid copper wire. I think that should work based on all the input I
received.
So, all the wire, insulators and all support rope will be black.

<My question - if I replaced the solid #14 wire with black Teflon coated #20
<stranded tinned copper wire am I giving up anything in performance? I would
<think the Teflon wire would hold up okay?

<The insulators I use are black and so is the support wire for the radials.

<Just trying to do the neighborly thing. I have painted the shiny Rohn 45

## I used 10 gauge RW-90, lasts indefinitely . Also used 8 awg.

## I see they also make an... outdoor version of RW-90,
waterproof,
uv proof.

## Both versions are bomb proof... and both are black.

## 10 gauge will make wire ants a lot broader.
