I do not worry about the THHN nylon separating when used for rotator
applications or wire antennas.

John KK9A Steve Maki K8LX THHN jacket seems to hold up well. It's just PVC but I've found it to be fairly UV resistant. The clear nylon coating is only there to make the wire slippery so that electricians can pull it easily thru conduit.
