Barry,

I'm trying to understand what you said about the base moving. What I think
I understand, the concrete base of your tower moved about 2" horizontally
and broke up the pavers at ground level?

If this is the case, wow! In fact, amazing. I've never heard of such a
thing  happening. All I can think is that your ground is really soft.

If this is the case, then yes, your tower certainly held up well, in my
mind,  beyond its ratings.
