Agreed. RFI is excellent.
I'll note that crimp-braid connectors can be abused by bending force at
the connector. So can solder braid, but not quite as quickly.
All connectors should have intelligent strain relief to prevent bending
at the connector, most easily done with staggered heat shrink tubing.
And of course the connector needs to be hermetically sealed if outdoors.
The heat shrink method helps there as well.
