Regarding a 50 Mhz Amp using the 4CX-250B. There is a chap in your backyard
GJ4ICD who is a 50 MHz officianado. He has a web page up that specifically
deals with 50 Mhz Amps and includes several deisigns one of which uses the
4CX-250B. The url for that (4CX-250B amp) is

text for designs contain the 4CX-250B, 3CX-800A7, 8877 and a couple of very
interesting pages are the Soviet GS-31 and GS-35b triodes. These tubes are
their equivalent of the 3CX-800 and 8877. The MOST expensive price I've
seen for the 35b is 1/3 of the 8877. Just illustrates how much Eimac and
Richardson Electronics are ripping us off!
