Steve,

I don't get in the sprint contests. I'm either not agressive enough,
or a really poor operator! Not fast enough for sure!

75 mtrs is not just a problem in the sprint contests, but in ****every
contest***.
I think the good ol'boys read the "contest corral" and maybe even the
NCJ just so they know when to be on (let the fun begin). Maybe next
sprint I will give a listen and copy some calls (or handles like in
CB'ers) and/or get on and talk to them. Maybe if they're argueing with
me they'll leave you guys be. If you sprint guys don't answer my cq's,
maybe I can sit on a frequency and just call cq contest. That usually
attracts a lot of anttention.

Anyway, I agree. It is totally illegal. If they don't indentify, then
they are not Amateur Radio Operators, they are PIRATES using our
frequencies. Come on, they know they're in the wrong when they won't
indentify. It's a sport to them.
