Sailing (gps, hull design, wx tracking, lots here), car racing(real time
telemetry, instant tune-ups, remote spotters!), airplane racing(too many to
list probably), any running/jumping track and field event (high tech shoes),
swimming (what do you think those slippery suits are for, good looks and
advertising?), bike racing (add a full water bottle to a bike frame and you
double its weight, if that isn't high tech I don't know what is), pro
football (more remote spotters! they now have to have a frequency
coordinator so the teams radios and all the other stuff don't interfere with
each other and have rules about failure of the team radios.), fishing (yes,
depth sounders, water color meters, wx stations, all sorts of fun stuff),
golf (ever seen how the REAL pro clubs are made compared with off the shelf
stuff??), tennis (carbon fiber racquets anyone), etc, etc, etc, technology
is everywhere in sports! Except maybe beach volley ball, unless you count
the sunscreen.
