Except the casual contest operator who enters the CQ contests merely  
to expand his DXCC entities worked may not be operating at that level  
of detail.

And imagine the frustration amoung DXers when an uncommon DX station  
doesn't count for DXCC during the contest because the operator may  
have used remove receivers in other entities for some of the contacts.

I don't have any problem with the Extreme rules, except that remote  
receivers should follow the same restriction as remote transmitters --  
same DXCC entity and Zone.
