Hi Jim,

That fact that NA station receive two points for intra-continent QSO's has
to do with the simple fact that there aren't many countries in the
continent of NA. Basically you only have The United States, Canada, Mexico
and a couple of smaller countries which are not very populated.
If you compare that to Europe, which is smaller as a continent but has a
lot more densely populated countries, European stations have a
clear advantage.
