I like your idea that will result in moving some leaders and break some old
records, but will be by points not for a big performance
in the contest, but I like too the possible modification for the zones 6 7
8 and 25 can level a little the results, 6 ,7 and 8 just provide a few
participants
not a big impact just for the local records and maybe a chance to win for them
(us) , 25 will be a good number of participants that will
give more points and receive
making modifications in the points can give a chance to look for new records
and
keep the fun in the game

What about:
1 point for qsos with own country
2 points for qsos in your continent or with own country but in different CQ
zone,
4 points for qsos with other continent
DX contacts still count a lot, other zone contacts in same continent counts 2
pts, add more fun
to US stations by allowing them to contact each other.
I know this is not going to happen coz it would completly change records,
leaders etc. but I think this
kind of scoring would still "support" dxpd to rare countrys to win, allow more
fun for black hole stations
and increase activity overall.
