I do because I hear them both sending confirmation. Worked for me several
times but unfortunetely it does not happen too often. If it did, it would
have improved my result pretty much.

I do that all the time if a couple of state site stations share or fight a
frequency.
That happens more often you might think especially on 10m.

sending the cqing stations call
hell if I was calling cq I know my own dam call !
