I weighed in on this earlier, but as for the use of the mic. I use the
astatic 10ADL dynamic head on the D-104 stand on my Collins S-1 and on the
KWM-2A, On the Ten-Tec Paragon II and the Kenwood 430S, I use the MC-50,
but I am waiting for the backordered 705 from Ten-Tec. I find that the mic
that is stock with the radio is usually a good match.
