Hi Stuart, Sorry - "the old-fashioned way" is no longer cost-effective. Silicon, software and numerically-controlled board build/assembly are so much cheaper these days than gears, slug racks, cams, dial cords and hand-wiring (not to mention plug-in coils!) When the product breaks, replace it. Repair tech man-hours are no longer cost-effective either.
